Finding Balance in the Chaos | Tried & True by Meg
Life as a busy mom, entrepreneur, and everyday human can feel like a constant juggling act. There’s always another task, another responsibility, another thing pulling for your attention. And in the middle of it all, finding time for yourself—for peace, for stillness, for clarity—can feel nearly impossible.
But here’s something I’ve learned: balance isn’t about perfection. It’s not about mastering time management or squeezing productivity out of every minute. Balance is about knowing when to pause, when to breathe, and when to say, "this is enough for today."
The Power of Small Moments
Some days, I wake up feeling motivated, ready to tackle everything on my list. Other days? The coffee isn’t strong enough, and the to-do list feels overwhelming. The trick isn’t forcing productivity—it’s recognizing the power of small moments:
The five minutes of quiet before the house wakes up
The deep breath before diving into a new challenge
The laughter shared over something silly
Those tiny moments? They’re the ones that ground us.
Permission to Let Go
So here’s my reminder for you (and myself): You don’t have to do it all today. Your worth isn’t measured by how much you accomplish. Some days, success looks like checking off every task. Other days, success is making it through without losing your mind.
Wherever you are, it’s enough.
Tried & True Wisdom
If you’re struggling to find balance, try this:
✔ Prioritize what truly matters—not everything needs to be done immediately
✔ Schedule rest—because burnout helps no one
✔ Find joy in the little things—those moments add up
At the end of the day, life isn’t about perfection—it’s about presence. Finding balance in the chaos is a journey, but it’s one worth taking.
XOXO,
Meg
